Just wanted to add, I make my own protein shake. It's not only protein.
I mix 6-8 oz nonfat milk with about 3/4 cup frozen fruit (a variety that doesn't have annoying, tiny seeds), plus a squirt of flaxseed oil, a tiny squirt of liquid amino acids, and a scoop of a proprietary/ commercial protein powder. I prefer a powder with LOW sugar. (Currently, I use TRUTEIN protein powder.)
Then I blend with a blender stick, and drink! Tasty! Holds me till my next meal.
