I choose my own. Sometimes it seems like the Nutrition Tracker comes up with some odd choices; I'm not vegetarian and didn't choose the "vegetarian" option, but it will give me a week of no meat. Maybe it's a subliminal suggestion! lol. At any rate, I find it easier to plan my own food.
I can see where it could be really helpful to some people, though; it gives you an idea of how to plan your meals each day with proteins, fats, carbs spread out over the course of the day.
