I count a "day" for drinking water (and tracking) as "when I'm awake." I'm sometimes up until 1 or 2, but that's all one day. It doesn't really matter, in the end, which you choose, as long as you're consistent. Remember that the water tracker, and other tools are for YOUR use... use them the way they make sense for you. The water tracker affects nothing but personal motivation and sparkpoints. :)
