Completely agree. I also diffuse a mixture of essential oils about 1/2 hour before i get in bed. I find the soft sent relaxes me. I also use my time right before bed to meditate.
I have a fitbit that I wear at night. What I have found in the past month was that I do not wake up as often in the night. I have been getting a better and more restorative sleep. I truly believe it has helped me gain energy during the day.
