Remember that listening to your appetite is how most of us got overweight! It can't be trusted for those of us who have spent a lifetime of learning not to listen to it.
When you're undereating, it's important to adjust your diet so that you can get your minimums, because if you don't, you're shortchanging your body on much-needed nutrients, which can lead to slowed metabolism later. ONce in a while is no big deal, but a pattern of poor nutrition hurts the body, and slows the process.
