Agree with the previous poster however a good peice of advice that other people suffering this condition will suggest you ask a dietician and be under a kidney specialist for advice. These two people can give you hard facts how to live with this diagnosis. C1q Nephropathy is a difficult kidney disease to treat because a large amount of protein is lost in the urine. My husband was under a kidney specialist and a dietitican- they had a tough time when this problem got out of control.
Also think about your kidney status before anything else- life being hooked to a dialysis machine really cramped the last 4 years my husbands life..
Good luck for the future- the money spent on a dietitican is well worth it..
