How about tofu or tempeh? You can get quite a few grams of protein for not too many calories - plus, calcium!
You can blend the softer tofu into things and not even notice it's there (somewhere in my cupboard i have a recipe for tofu pumpkin pie - you would NEVER know!).
I am also a convert to "frozen tofu" - you just cut up the fresh stuff into serving-size pieces, and freeze it. It turns a rather unappealing yellowy-beige colour while frozen, but don't be alarmed! When you thaw it out and squeeze it out, it loses that yellow colour and the freezing/thawing process gives it a chewy spongey texture, which I find more appealing, it also holds together better when cooking.
