I like the dark chocolate almond milk. I love the idea of putting it in coffee - I'm going to have to try that!

I only drink almond milk now, but it is a mystery to me as one time I get it and it taste good to me and the next time not as good. I don't understand why because I buy the same brand and flavor every time and also check the expiration dates. A big plus to almond milk btw is that it has a longer experation date than regular milk.

Not a milk drinker or a milk in cereal person, but I have used it to make chai lattes and other things, and it's okay. I'd rather up the calories a bit for the protein in skim milk, personally.

I love almond milk, especially vanilla and chocolate, but I find soy milk more nutritionally balanced, with a greater amount of protein per serving.

I like it, but it does have a distinct nutty taste which people may not enjoy necessarily in something like tea or coffee... I am loving it in coffee though, its like having an almond flavoured latte.

I've only ever tried the unsweetened kind (probably in vanilla) and don't enjoy drinking it straight up. But I think it's pretty good with cereal--not the same as regular milk, but still enjoyable.

I like it, but I'm a little funny about the brand. I drink original, and my favorite is Organic 365 from Whole Foods. Next favorite is Trader Joes original. I've also had Silk but didn't care for the original flavor. Vanilla flavored makes me want to gag. Silk Dark Chocolate is amazing, but has kind of a lot of added sugar.

I like Almond milk, but was the only one in my house who used it so always ended throwing some out and I hate wasting it. Really glad to hear about the pint size cartons. I also like skim milk, which I have drank for over 20 years(you know way back when it used to be blue :) I find the key to liking skim milk is you just get used to it. I cannot drink 2% and above because it is too thick for me.

I love almond milk... while it is more "watery" than regular milk, it is a great substitute if you are lactose intolerant... I just can't give up real milk in coffee though.

Not a fan myself -- I prefer regular milk. (And *gasp* actual cream in my coffee - yum!) But my sister loves her almond milk.

During my weight loss phase I used the So Delicious brand of lowfat coconut milk (I think 45 calories a cup or so?) in place of skim milk sometimes to cut down calories. Sometimes use it in smoothies now, but not that often.

I do drink almond milk, but I do not use it on my cereal. Perhaps if I was eating a cereal that had a nut flavour to begin with, but I find that the almond aftertaste of the almond milk affects how the cereal tastes. I do love almond milk in different recipes and the chocolate almond milk is one of my favourite chocolate fixes now.

I've found that coconut milk has a much milder aftertaste and so if I'm eating cereal I tend to use that instead.

ETA: As a side note, there are individual serving sizes of some almond milk brands available. I pick the Earth's Own Almond on the go individual servings for when I'm on the go. They're a handy 150 mL (1 cup) size, and would be a good way to try it at relatively low cost.

I like the Silk Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk. I do not drink it straight from a glass, but it goes in smoothies and on cereal great for me. It really is a personal preference. The first time I ever bought the stuff, a nice lady at the grocery store told me what she knew about it and she hated the vanilla flavor. I like it though.

ETA: if you like 2% cows milk and anything less than 2% is nasty to you, then my guess is you will NOT like almond milk. It is similar to skim, if not a little more 'watery'. It's not thick like 2% at all.

I'm not a fan. I've tried it several times, and can't stand it. My mother, however, loves it. Whether or not you'll like it depends on you, I'm afraid.

If you want fewer calories, use a lower percentage of milk, and less of it. Generally, you don't need a full cup of milk for cereal! I never drink less than 2%, and add maybe half a cup to my cereal. I cut calories elsewhere. I need the early-morning boost!
