Well when i hear the words "Dr. Oz" I get my back up almost immediately... but... this DASH diet is actually NOT one of the typical-fad-diets that the "Doctor" likes to push-for-profit on his show these days. It's actually a healthy eating plan that matches up very closely with what Spark would recommend.
For those who can't bring themselves to click an Oz-related link, it is discussed on the Mayo Clinic site (which i still have some faith in). www.mayoclinic.com/health/dash-diet/HI0004
Really, it's just a guideline for sensible healthy eating, focusing on whole grains, fruit & veggies, lean meats, beans and legumes, dairy, nuts and healthy fats, all in appropriate portion sizes to ensure good nutrition. You could easily use it as a template for meal planning, and then just input the items you ate into Spark to track it.
