No - it is the calories in versus calories out. Just be careful that you don't go TOO low on carbs, altho' if you are eating plenty of fruit/veges, you should be fine.

Do I have to reach my carb goal to be successful in losing weight? I eat mostly fruit, vegetables and chicken or fish.
