I have been suffering from leg cramps, so I did some Internet research. I research suggested that it could be not enough water; potassium, magnesium and or electrolytes. I drink at least 8 cups of water a day, so I seeked the doctor's advice. We went over my blood work again, and he stated that my numbers look good. I confirmed that I take a one a day vitamin, I've beefed up my banana consumption, and purchased some Gatorade. He said continue what I'm doing, but stretch more, drink 2 more cups of water, and take an Alleve with dinner at night for 2 weeks and report back.
I decided to take a look at my one a day vitamin. To my surprise...it doesn't list potassium! Is this normal for a one a day to not contain any potassium? In addition to trying to eat more potassium enriched foods, I may have to look for a supplement.
Any artificial suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!!!
