Not to fond of coconut water but i am enjoying a banana everyday. I hate that they are so high in calories. I guess that's why they taste soo good!

Thanks!!

Potassium can be dangerous at inappropriate amounts. It brings about muscle contraction and relaxation (including your heart muscle). Most supplement companies therefore include none or a very small amount. Since your doctor said that your lab work was good---look for foods for your potassium. Click this link and select Potassium (by nutrient amount). You will get an extensive food listing:

Gatorade is little more than sugar water, honestly. ;) There are better ways to get more potassium. Potatoes are a good source. My favorite go-to for leg cramps is orange juice. Here's some other tips for getting more potassium:

I have been suffering from leg cramps, so I did some Internet research. I research suggested that it could be not enough water; potassium, magnesium and or electrolytes. I drink at least 8 cups of water a day, so I seeked the doctor's advice. We went over my blood work again, and he stated that my numbers look good. I confirmed that I take a one a day vitamin, I've beefed up my banana consumption, and purchased some Gatorade. He said continue what I'm doing, but stretch more, drink 2 more cups of water, and take an Alleve with dinner at night for 2 weeks and report back.

I decided to take a look at my one a day vitamin. To my surprise...it doesn't list potassium! Is this normal for a one a day to not contain any potassium? In addition to trying to eat more potassium enriched foods, I may have to look for a supplement.

Any artificial suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!!!
