I've got an issue I'd like some help with.
I had my gallbladder out in October of 2011. After the recommended healing time, I started adding fat back into my diet. It went well for a while, but now...let's just say that I've gained a lot back that I had taken off when I was on the ultra-low-fat gallbladder diet.
I've also been having some issues with fat digestion recently. If I'd still had a gallbladder, I think that the attacks would have been VERY painful--as it was, the pain has still been kind of bad.
I know that I can't have as much fat as I used to, but I still want to be able to have things like peanut butter and salmon and oil & vinegar salad dressings--and yes, chocolate and chips every once in a while. I just can't seem to figure out how to balance them out.
Any ideas? How low should I be aiming for at first? Any ideas?
