I've never heard of that happening, but I'm not going to worry about it. It seems like everything is toxic these days.

I have read that as well, Pjanto.

I have never heard of anything like that. There's nothing wrong with adding variety, but I've never read any credible scientific evidence that backs up the idea that you need to rotate foods to avoid toxicity, especially if you're eating organic (which presumably has no pesticides.)

I do a mix of greens daily from kale, collard greens, mustard greens, spinach, swiss chard, etc. I do probably 6 servings a day but I do mix them up daily. I usually buy three types of greens. Not sure if the organic greens would become toxic. I NEVER heard that. I do kale chips every day.
I love dandelion greens in my smoothies. It is seriously one of the more perfect foods out there. haven't tried the blossoms.

I guess you can always go with the addage too much of a good thing, but I seriously never heard that kale could become toxic.

I enjoy kale in my smoothies. About 2 cups worth of kale a day. I read somewhere on one of the boards that you need to "rotate" your greens, as they "build up" in your system and cause symptoms of toxicity. Is there any truth to this (assuming they are organic)? I can't wait for spring and dandelions! I want to use the greens in smoothies and try the blossoms sautéed. We don't use chemicals in the yard. I know greens are a staple in many cultures, and can't imagine entire populations becoming ill from them, but just want to be safe. I appreciate any answers.
