I am testing out some healthy nutritional shakes for my grandmother, who just started chemo. So far I have tried Vega One, Amazing Meal, Raw Meal, and another that I can't recall off the top of my head. These are all vegan, non GMO, gluten free, dairy free, and free of artificial sweeteners and other chemical CRAP. Some of them use all organic, raw ingredients as well, if that is important to you. They also contain high (vegetable, no soy) protein, fiber, omega 3s, probiotics, digestive aids, and greens/superfood blends. They also contain reasonable levels of fat. They can be a bit expensive, but are nutritionally balanced and sound, and are much healthier for your body than most of the chemical-filled 'diet' shakes out there. They actually taste decent, and are VERY filling. They can be mixed with water, milk (dairy, almond, soy, coconut, or otherwise) or whatever liquid you choose. You can also mix them into smoothies, if desired. Don't short-change your body with pseudo-food.
You can get samples of lots of these at your local 'health food' store. I got mine at the local Whole Foods. I'm pretty sure you can also get samples from Amazon or Ebay.
