Yes, I've used them mainly for the health benefits. If you're looking to use them to keep you full, I've found that making a thick chia pudding works much better than anything else. Chia seeds absorb up to 9 times their weight in liquid, but I usually use a 1:6 ratio. So for example, combine 1/3 cup chia seeds with 2 cups liquid (I like almond milk) in a jar, close lid, and shake to mix. You can also add cinnamom, cocoa powder, or a little sweetener if you like. Let that sit overnight and the next morning you'll have a nice, thick mixture. Anywhere from 1/4 to 1/2 cup of this pudding usually does the trick for me! There are many chia pudding recipes online.
