My vacation plan (I was away for 3 weeks, lost 1.5lb while away and another 2lb in the 4 days since I've been back) was to eat a healthy breakfast, a light lunch, then splurge a little on dinner. I didn't have dessert every night, and I kept healthy snacks on hand. Cut yourself a bit of slack though, you are on vacation, and a bit of junk food won't hurt you.
There are no shortcuts. No magic bullets. No secret spells. What works is hard work, dedication, and a daily dose of chocolate.
