this is one of those times when it's great to put things into perspective. did you know that if you have a 4000 cal meal once a year, you only have to save up 11 cals a day to balance it out? and 4000 cals over your ranges 4000 cals. making sure you save 11 cals a day is all it takes.
if this really is a ladytime thing, that's every four weeks though. so 2000 cals over 4 weeks means saving up 72 cals a day to have a let go once a month. so if your ranges were 1200-1550, that means sticking to 1200-1479 for that one, 2000 cal over day. you can do the actual math with your ranges to see exactly what it would be for you.
and if you really like sausage, find a way to incorporate it that makes it better. if you were to make a quiche, perhaps half whole egg, half egg whites, load it up on the broccoli and cauliflower and use sausage in that, you'd be getting something tempting that you like, but bulking it out with veggies to make it more reasonable.
