Protein shakes are really as varied at the day is long. Which one will work best for you depends on entirely too many factors! YOu really just kinda have to try one.
I like the Special K shakes, but a lot of people don't. Right now, I use Designer Whey and make my own. I don't use them as meal replacements, except when I'm really not wanting to eat breakfast but still need fuel (a shake is better than no breakfast at all!)
I think most people would say that getting your own powder and making your own is about the best way to go; that way you have freedom to make it the way you like, and give yourself variety.
