The only onion I would ever consider munching raw is a vidalia... they're almost sweet! And you have to get a proper vidalia, too; not just a "yellow sweet onion", the kind they grow here in GEorgia. ;)

NOt an onion fan. LOL.

Raw vegetables & fruits contain high amounts of digestive enzymes so yes...you will lose weight and get super fantastic Vitamins and minerals...

the phytonutrients in apples can help you regulate your blood sugar so thats a great choice...since I believe if your blood sugar isnt blaanced you will never lose weight.....Oatmeal is a great choice too.... it helps lower cholesterol levels in the blood.

Also if you have lettuce chose Romaine because it contains Vitamins A, c, K, and various minerals...better than iceberg...and vinegar helps keep blood sugar steady

Eat an Avocado it also delays hunger pains

I just want to say thank you to whoever it was who told me to put 'veggies in a baggie' (she puts them in her car and at work etc if that helps)! I now have no cooked vegetables for my lunch at all and it has helped me lose so much weight! I hated taking BORING salad to work with me...with tasteless lettuce, now I chunk everything up to nibble on - celery, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, peppers, tomatoes, cucucmber, (onion if you're daring!) basically whatever I have in the fridge and nibble on that through the day. It genuinely keeps me full all day (with less calories), I include a little pot of cereal and an apple, but I don't come home starving. Then I have a nice healthy dinner with lean protein and dry roast veggies.

So far, just by doing that I have lost 10lbs! Super happy!
