I would look for a good peanut butter - something natural without hydrogenated oils. Growing up, a lot of times I'd be sent off to school with a "spoonful of peanut butter" because my mom didn't like sending us without some protein :) I like to keep a variety of different nuts and seeds on hand (almonds, pecans, cashews, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, etc.).
If you're looking for something that's more of a meal replacement, I'd recommend ProBar (theprobar.com/
) - they are raw, organic, and vegan, and I think they're super yummy. They have around 10 grams of protein per bar. My hubby and I took a bunch of these to Disneyland with us in November and they kept us happy.
Do you have a hotplate or a microwave in your room? I recently discovered Amy's Kitchen - they have a lot of different kinds of soups and chilis, and they're also organic. The soups are lower in protein (roughly 6-8g/serving), but most of the chilis have over 10g per serving. Just be careful with these because they are fairly high in sodium.
Hopefully this helps give you some ideas. Good luck!
