I like string cheese @ 90 calories each. Or, when in season, I love clementines, a small orange that's easy to peel and has no or few seeds. Very sweet! Otherwise, an apple.

The sun dried tomatoes that aren't in jars of oil are usually in the produce section near the salads.

I like sun dried tomatoes. Not the ones in oil though. It makes me feel like I'm eating pizza. 1 is five calories and I usually just snack on 10.

I measure out 1 cup portions of cheerios into baggies and eat them instead of potato chips. Great for when I'm craving Starch and Crunch

Also, jerkey is pretty good. I just got some salmon jerkey but I haven't tried it yet. I watch to make sure the rest of the day isn't so sodium-laden. Balance it out.

Frozen blueberries with a dollop of yogurt on top. I don't even wait for them to thaw cuz I like to suck on them but by the time I finish, they are usually soft.

I cook all my meals from scratch, most snacks too. But "no prep" is what I thought we were referring to. If I have run out of all my snacks that I have made...the almonds do the trick. Since they are pre-packaged and I am eating them in the car on the way to work...NO temptation to take more! Another easy snack with a little prep is half of a sweet potato mixed with 1/2 container greek vanilla yogurt with a sprinkle of cinnamon...tastes just like a delicious pudding with no added sugar and under 100 calories.

carrot batons with 1tbsp hummous or wholenut sugar free crunchy peanut butter 3 or 4 seafood sticks with 1 tbsp salsa 1 hard-boiled egg 1 slice ready sliced cheese(not processed) with a tomato 30g dried fruit 30g nuts & seeds any fresh fruit (I like a small banana as a 4pm snack as it keeps me going till dinner) 1/2 an avocado with lemon juice & black pepper 1/2 a sugar free protein bar 2 plain cookies or 2 crispbreads(ryvita with pumpkin seeds is nice) a yogurt a fruit smoothie (zap any 1/2 cup soft fruit with 4 oz orange or apple juice - I make ahead and keep in the fridge) 1 small cup microwave popcorn I'm trying to stick with real food as I find snackpacks just make me want to eat more junk. If I'm out during the day I prepare the night before so I always have a selection of snacks with me to stop me cheating. If I miss lunch when I'm out and don't have time to stop I will have a whole protein bar (not a dieters meal bar) as I need the protein - 20g average (gastric bypass), find them in body building supplements - usually sugar free but check.

If you want to spend extra money (which I don't), you can always get the fruits and veggies that are cut up already at the grocery store. They have sliced apples in vacuum sealed bags. You can get fruit cut up from dole or whomever in vacuum sealed containers. Most come in the juice rather than syrup. Baby carrots already come ready. I prefer not to be lazy because I make my food prep fun. I can get my organics and I can also control what is in the container. Sometimes convenience isn't all that healthy and it is a whole heck of a lot more expensive. The cut up celery in the small containers is 3X more in cost than picking up celery that you may have to do a little more work on. i also don't trust the 100 calorie packs. They are filled with stuff I don't need.

Never had the hazelnut butter just the almond butter that you crank out yourself from wholefoods. I like a tsp of almond butter by itself or with apple slices as a snack.

There are some awesome ideas here that I'd never have thought of. My favourite snacks right now are grapes, air popped popcorn (tiny bit of prep needed but I make a lot at once and portion it out), and the light Babybel cheese rounds that have been mentioned. YUM.
I won't get what I wish for, I'll get what I work for.

When we are in a hurry we sometimes buy those already cut-up veggies from the produce section. It's expensive but it works for us.

half a bagel, low-fat cream cheese and sprouts. The sprouts give it a really satisfying crunch and they add a veggie.

Ohh yea.... regarding peanut butter. I hope everyone is eating the natural additive free stuff..... rather than the normal peanut butter full of all sorts of nasty stuff which is actually really bad for you.
