Hi there,
Do you marinate the seaweed yourself?
I always have seaweed hanging around the house (for sushi rolls), read your post and was interested.
Cheers

Hi! You can find the Walden Farms products at Kroger stores. If you do not have a Kroger's around, I would ask your store manager, if they can start getting them. Great to have!

Triscuits or frosted shredded wheat cereal (portioned out into baggies)
V8 juice
Larabars
Luna bars (regular or extra protein style)
Reduced fat string cheese
Granola (check the label or make your own)
Peanut butter (I like it on celery, carrots, and apples.)
Mini sandwiches (make ahead)
Dark chocolate with 90% cacao
Haagen Dazs Sorbet (single serve packages contain only 110 calories each!)

Also, if possible, peruse a natural grocery store. You might get some new ideas there.

Ryevita Sesame cracker with hummus, cottage cheese or peanut butter on it. Whole grain and protein--keeps you going for a while.

Mix it up a little and try tzatziki. They sell it at Trader Joe's and Whole Foods, probably at WalMart too for that matter. You can make your own with plain greek yogurt, grated cucumber, garlic and a little salt. You can change it up with a little mint or other fresh herbs. Great for dipping crudites or crackers, pita, etc.

Try air-popped popcorn (you can buy them ready made at grocery stores). Only about 110 calories for 3 cups worth of popcorn.

I also snack on cheese sticks/cubes/etc

You could try some cream cheese on crackers if you want.

Pretzels are fairly filling but low in calories.

Applesauce is a good option.

String Cheese is a good lowfat, low-cal snack. granola bars are a good option too. Grapes, apples, and carrots just require washing. Triscuits and lowfat Wheat Thins are good too. I like peanut butter (natural or lowfat).

(other then fruit and veggies)- you made it challenging.

i was reading many of the other replies and everyone goes right to the fruit and veggies. i myself dont want a cold carrot stick when it is 5 degrees outside

i portion out cheese and vennison sausage sticks
pre portioned snacks like litttle rice cakes and crackers from aldi's
i keep soup in 1 cup containers in the freezer at work, im lucky that i have no one who will steal them.

chewable vitamin c tablets - huh? you say! they taste just like a sweet tart, you cant have too many, no calories, they make my tongue happy which is usually what the cravings are anyway. a couple tablets and back to work.

i know it is a fruit but i keep bananas on my desk, i dont need to wash my hands to eat one, they are "pre packaged"

I load the fridge with single servings of sugar-free jello, I splurge on a store bought veggie tray for snacks to grab walking by the fridge, and the string cheeze sticks.

And as for the sundried tomato question: I've seen sun dried tomatoes in vacuum sealed bags at Trader Joe's--I wasn't too thrilled with the product's taste though. I'm still looking for convenient and yummy combined.

I love Chobani Greek yogurt. I always have a couple of the 6 oz containers stocked in the fridge at work for days I do not have time to prep snacks. They are between 140 and 160 kcal depending on the flavor. They are loaded with protein which keeps me full and they curb my sweet tooth.
Another staple of mine are beef jerky and fruit leather. I buy the 48 pack of Stretch Island fruit leathers at Costco and they last a long time - only 45 kcal a piece.
I also keep a couple of apples, bananas, tangerines (or oranges) on my desk.
Great snackable non-prep veggies are grape tomatoes, baby carrots, broccoli florets.

One step at a time, one day at a time, one habit at a time.

Lots of good ideas here! As an alternative to string cheese, I love the Baby Bel Light mini cheeses, and eat one with an apple most afternoons. Neither the cheese nor the apple fill me for long on their own, but together they're magic.

1/2 a matzo cracker with 1 or 2 tablespoons of any one of the following :
smashed avocado (sometimes topped with a tomato slice)
peanut butter
smoked gouda cheese (maybe with a touch of cranberry chutney)
tuna (either the tomato slice or the cranberry chutney tastes good with this as well!)
melted provolone or swiss (also good with the tuna)
the possibilities are endless ....and easy!

Chocolate rice cake with a smear of peanut butter. Yum!

I also snack on yogurt, cottage cheese, fiber one bar, fresh fruit, etc.
