Thank you so much Unident!!! Your kind words are aprectiated!

Thank you to the others that also commented :) I will in fact delay my reward and see how the next weigh in goes.

I tried on my jeans that were stored up in the attic, and what do you know??? They fit!!! That is my reward....for now ;)

I agree with the others. Maybe not so much to skip this reward, but delay it at least. See if, at the end of another week, you are still 20+lbs lost. Then reward yourself.

You may think most of that weight was because you weren't eating enough during your grief, and that this isn't really something you should reward yourself for. Try to think of it more that, during your grief period, when you DID eat, you ate WELL. That should be rewarded! It's very easy to let diet goals go completely out the window when dealing with something tragic.

So you've done very well. And if that weight stays off for another full week, go ahead and reward yourself. :)

I always lose extra weight when I cut back my work outs for a week. I normally do it between 5 and 7 weeks depending how I'm feeling. I wouldn't say it's a bad thing just don't get upset if you gain some of it back. Skip this prize since its more likely your body readjusting.

There's no way to know for sure, although it is likely to be largely a fluid loss. Our bodies fluctuate all the time! Women, especially, often experience dramatic gains and losses during or around the time of their menstrual cycle.

I would wait to celebrate until the next weigh in or two, to see if it sticks. :)

So, just a week or ago I lost a total of 15 lbs. Went on line and bought myself the purse I wanted! Yay me!!
Then, just weighed in and uhhhh, I lost 5 lbs last week. (my rewards are in 5lb increments) Had a rough week and wasn't eating due to a death in the family.

So, what were those 5lbs exactly??

And should I still reward myself??? Did I eat right when I did eat? YES!!! Did I work out, like, AT ALL?? NOOOO!!!

Will that weight come back at my next weigh in???
How could this be water weight?? During week 6????
Did my body attack my muscle????

Though I lost 5 lbs and have surpased the 20lb weight loss mark, I'm not happy and I'm afraid I'm going to head in the wrong direction....
HELP!
