You probably need to just scale back your water intake a bit...I personally am ok with having to go to the bathroom several times at work because it gets me up and walking! But I agree every 30 minutes is a bit excessive.

I was just reading something along these lines yesterday, and it said very similar things.
It also said that eating things that were a large part water (skim milk, juicy fruits, etc.) adds to the "pee" problem as well.

I'm actually trying to stick with when my body needs it, because it also said over hydrating even leads to dry mouth (making you think you're thirsty when you're not).

But definitely very clear (like no colour) pee would indicate too much water - and I've been guilty of that - almost to the point of obsessively having water with me at all times.

I find if I space my water (or really any fluid) intake to no more than a cup of water in 20 minutes, I don't have to use the washroom so frequently.

Do you space out your water intake throughout the day? I drink 16 ounces in 3-hour time slots throughout the day - keeps me from running to the bathroom every 30 minutes

No, that's a symptom of being "over" hydrated.

Your body should be "using" your water. If it's not, if it just passes right through you in 30 minutes, then your body can't possibly have "needed" that water. You're overhydrating it.

Why not try to cut down on water then? You should absolutely be 'going' several times a day, but you shouldn't be going after every single glass that you have.

Is your pee pale straw yellow or clear? If it's clear you're over hydrated. Pale yellow is healthy pee.

That's totally normal, and it does get better. :) It's a hazard of being well hydrated!

So I am trying to be more disciplined when drinking water. I am always having to run to the ladies room though, it almost goes right through me! Which is annoying at work. But I can almost time it, after I drink it, I will have to go in like 30 mins. Is this normal? Is there a way to "condition" my bladder so it doesn't happen as much?

Any help would be great!
