I have to admit I did try it. Couldn't tell the difference plus it was hard for me to remember to use it on my food.

Dragon Childe is correct-there is no magic to Make a person lose weight, there are tools to help people when they set their mind to losing..pills, the new diet of the year, the new (or old) diet supplements of the year never work, they are greedy companies making money from the desperate overweight-after all their selling a product so of course the manufactures will say They are the Best! I know, I tried about all of them including plans, when I was at my highest weight. I had then the mindset the pills, supplements, or whatever will make me lose while I could still eat as much or anything I wanted. Not So! Their is no one size fits all plan since everyone is different, but a change of mindset and small steps is a good beginning.

Come on, magic sprinkles? Really?

Think about it. Magic sprinkles that let you eat whatever you want.

It's too good to be true. Therefore, by all logic... it is.

It contains nothing that would actually serve as an appetite suppressant, is based on shaky science at best, and has ZERO reliable scientific evidence that it works. here on Sparkpeople, anecdotally speaking, we get people who come in guns a-blazin over "not criticizing what you haven't tried" and "it makes me stay fuller longer" but their weight loss tickers don't move, and they don't come back after a couple of weeks.

Save your money. There are no shortcuts, no magic cures, no tricks. Just eating healthy, exercising will power, and making the right choices.

There are no true diet remedies, the best diet is SP. I have spent a lot of money on many diet pills, etc and none of them truly work.

The only way to finish your worout is to start!

I understand desperation and felt the same way when I first started here a few years back. The thing is, you have to learn how to eat correctly for the rest of your life, so why not start now (baby steps) vs. using something that is questionable?

In my mother's day there was a diet candy called "Ayds" (not a good name now obviously, LOL) and it never caused her to lose weight. She made me drink vinegar water (horrible) when I was slightly overweight because she thought it would make me lose weight. Nope, just made me sick to my stomach and very irritated with her since she was the one overweight and didn't drink it.

There is always some "diet aid" that is new and claims are made that it is wonderful, but it all comes back to diet and exercise. It took me approx. a year to lose my weight and it was hard because I am very impatient, but I wanted to do it the right way so it didn't come back.

Before doing SP, I was looking for a good way to help curb my appetite, and I heard about Sensa. There is actually a girl on youtube who did a video diary over the course of a few months and tracked how she was feeling and what she had lost. She said that the way it curbs your appetite is that it changes the smell of your food into something resembling body odor. After a month she lost only 5 lbs, and towards the end of her video diary series she was reporting nausea, dizziness, severe hunger pangs, and concluded after 3 months that it didnt work well, and it wasn't worth it.

Plus, looking at the list of active ingredients, I wouldnt want to eat it anyway.

One of my employees used it before her wedding. She used it and starved herself a lot and lost 12 pounds in 2 months. She's been married 6 months now and she's gained that 12 back and about 18 on top of that. So, my answer would be no, it doesn't work.

A lot of people will tell you that it has curbed their appetites, but I don't buy it. It's a huge waste of money, and by not buying into that garbage, you can use the money you save and buy yourself some wonderful whole foods! Use SP's nutrition tracker, stay within your ranges, exercise and be patient :)

No... I know several people who have tried it. My sister used it for 9 months -only lost 2 pounds. The only thing that works is diet and exercise. Eat smaller meals 5 to 6 times a day. Count your calories and watch your serving size. She started doing this 2 months ago and is down 20

Be the change you want to see.

Sensa ingredients-
Maltroxtrin, derived from corn often used as a sugar subsititute.

Tricalcium Phosphate- A mineral used as a dietary supplement or electrolyte replacement. It increases serum calcium directly by affecting bones , kidneys and gastrointestional tract. It also reduces minerals and collagen breakdown in bones. This ingredient may cause headache, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, rash, dizziness, increase in unination, and joint pain.

Inactive ingredients- silica, natural and artificial flavor, soy and milk ingredients.

Hi,
I've been really desperate to lose weight. Aside from eating right and exercising, I want something that will really boost the weight loss. Have any of you tried Sensa? Does it work?
