"Lose up to 10 pounds in 3 days"...
Ten pounds of what?
You have to ask yourself - if you can lose fat that quickly, why isn't everyone? WHY is there a general guideline not to exceed 2lbs of weight loss per week? What's wrong with faster? Isn't that good?
Your body only burns fat so quickly. If you are losing 10lbs in 3 days, it isn't fat. Therefore it's either water, which'll come right back on, or it's muscle/organs/bone density, which are things you want to KEEP!
You want to get yourself "on track"? What is "track"? Why would you get yourself "on track" by doing something completely different to what you plan to do normally in future? Which "track" is that?
Get yourself "on track" by getting into healthy eating now. While you can be more flexible in future for a 'lifestyle' approach, try spending one week eating "perfectly". Balanced meals, lots of water and fibre, regular exercise, no treats. That will be much closer to the "track" you want to be on. :)
