I am wondering about this. I am diabetic, and know that the easier it is for me to digest food, the faster the blood sugar spikes.
To any coach, I want to ask how this would affect people. Since most of the people here tend to have issues with their weight, is their any danger of juicing, or drinking juice, or smoothies increasing their danger of getting diabetes?
I know that there is a benefit to eating more vegetables/ fruit, but they can be eaten in their natural state. I just worry about a bunch of overweight people, purposefully spiking their blood sugar over and over. Is this healthy, or something that is a fad, that may end up hurting people more in the long run?
