I have them in a pinch, or when I am feeling too lazy to have anything else (hey, I'm human, it happens!)
I go for the low carb/high protein ones myself. The Atkins ones taste good, and have a good amount of protein to keep me full. I think the difference between these bars and a candy bar is that the candy bar is basically pure sugar, so you will be hungry soon after. If you have a higher protein one it should keep you full.
There are no shortcuts. No magic bullets. No secret spells. What works is hard work, dedication, and a daily dose of chocolate.
