Thanks for the information. I did recalculate my BMR using the link posted below, OUCH, makes me realize that I will need to increase the exercise to make up for the lost calories!! I would like to know how to reset it on Spark.
Yes, 3 pounds has been a little fast, but since I started at 314, I lost a lot at the beginning. The last 8 weeks I have averaged about 2.5 pounds a week. I intend to slow down to 1-1.5.
Also, the BMR of 2700 took into account an increase of 20% for low activity. I believe this is how spark calculates the BMR. Knowing now that I was losing 3 pounds a week, the 20% increase was probably a little low.
Based on the new calculator linked below, I should probably use closer to 30-35%. Even increasing to 35%, my BMR dropped from 2700 to about 2450. This should be OK, as I normally eat about 1800 calories a day which will still allow for 1-1.5 pounds without an increase in my last 4 months activity.
