1550 is still for weight loss. Like YOJULEZ said, if you're closer to 1200, you're likely to lose weight faster if you're starting out. Just don't go below 1200.
Also keep in mind - if you start to burn significantly more calories through exercise, SP will tell you to adjust your settings, which means you'll get to eat more if you're burning more calories.
