I've found many places offer a lettuce wrap option now. If that is unavailable I ask my sandwich insides be put on top of a side salad.

Rye, sourdough, or pumpernickel are your best bets as they are the ones w/ the lowest glycemic indexes. I personally would go for sourdough, as I like it the best out of the 3 :) 100% whole wheat is good too.

Also depending on the place, the bread might really be 100% whole wheat. It probably mostly depends on if they bake their own bread or have it brought in. Just ask them.

Working on maintaining at 140!

So when going to a cafe or deli or someplace, I know that their wheat bread is not 100% whole wheat by any means. That being said, which would be the best bread to get there? Regular wheat, Rye, or Sourdough? Obviously not white or a wrap.

When I buy bread, I either get the 100% whole wheat sandwich thins or 45 cal bread slices, that way my own sandwhiches come with 100 calories of 100% whole grain, but I'm wondering about when I'm eating out. The bread is thicker but just trying to make the best choice with what I have for options there

Goal is to maintain around 152. This leaves me in easy cutting range of featherweight.
