Whether or not it would be a good choice for me would depend on what it does to my whole nutritional balance. Nuts & seeds in general are high in both fat and protein, and I do snack on them, because I am habitually short in those categories. But I measure to make sure I don't go overboard.

Your whole bag is adding 475 calories to your week, 35 grams of fat per week, and 15 grams of protein. That's a good choice for some people, a poor choice for others. If it's working for you, enjoy it!

I think they're fine as long as you measure them out. True, they're not the best/healthiest snack, but if you have a craving, why not measure out the three portions, put in ziplocks, and munch on those throughout the week?

I really like David Jumbo Buffalo Ranch sunflower seeds. I checked the label and it's 190 calories per serving and each bag contains 2.5 servings, but I never eat an entire serving in one sitting. In fact it takes me an entire week to finish the bag! I just kinda idly munch on them while at the computer or playing a video game, and the time and effort it takes to eat them and spit shells (and make sure the shells are discarded into some sort of container and not spit onto the floor or desk) means I never eat too much in one go.

So, good choice or not?
