I had jaw surgery a few years ago and one of the things that really satisfied me was pureed strawberries. Great taste, great color, and filling. It was hard to get protein, but I kind of had success with cottage cheese. then I got hooded on KFC mashed potatoes and gravy and lived on that for a while (not recommending as a full time diet, but once in a while is ok). The consistency was just thin enough that I could use the food syringe the doctor gave me to eat with. Hang in there. You will make it.

sis had a broken jaw when we were kids. Mom put everything in the blender. Although she never let sis know at the time, mom would make milk shakes and add a raw egg.

what about Ensure or one of those type of supplement drinks?

Okay, I am looking for ways beyond protein shakes to feed myself for the next 4-5 weeks. My diet is mostly the consistency of clear liquid/slightly thicker. I have so many tension bands on my wires, there is really not a lot of room for clearance. Any suggestions?

Stay human.
