Crystal Light is great to help you get enough water each day. Just remember that each serving is 5 calories, so try not to make each cup you drink with it because that will add an extra 40 calories a day.

Also try adding flavor with fruit or drinking more green tea. There are many great benefits from drinking green tea and it can be flavored with a little lemon or honey.

Hope this helps! Good Luck!

I adore Crystal light. Since my surgery, it is very hard for me to drink plain water unless it is during a workout.

My RD gave me the green light, so I drink it every day!

(technically, I drink the Great Value brand, but it is the same thing)

Yes they are safe to use and count as a fluid/water source for your body. This is backed by scientific research.
Enjoy

Although I do use it from time to time, I prefer lemons, limes or any kind of fruit water. It's easy to make your own infused water. My favorite is probably cucumber, lemon and ginger or lemons and strawberries. emoticon

I wouldn't drink it as it is not a real food.

I prefer water or herbal tea.

I think that's just fine! And yes it counts.

You don't have to eat the whole thing.

some days, depending on my mood, it's the only way I can get plain tap water into me !!! I really do dilute the powder though, as I just need that hint of a flavour to help me. I have found that those individual packets that are supposed to go into a bottle, are way to strong for me.

Definately fine I think to change up your water if it helps you to drink more :) I love adding a lemon to my water, in fact I cut a lemon at my desk and squeeze half into my ice water in the morning and half in after lunch. It flavors my water and is a natural diuretic. With the crystal light, I think definately count as water, at least according to Weight Watchers a beverage could be counted as 'water' as long as it was sugar-free and caffine-free, so enjoy!

What do you mean by "is it ok"?

Artificial sugar - Some say yes, some say no. I drink it.

Does it count as water intake? Absolutely! :)

Also, you may want to try Lipton Tea & Honey packets. They're awesome! I've had the blackberry pomegranate and mango pineapple. They definitely help me get my water in everyday.

Up here at work we have bottled water. I've been good about drinking about 3 throughout the day, but on the 3rd one I sometimes add crystal light. Only .5 calories I think. Anyway...you think it's okay? Am I good to count it as 2 glasses of water (it's 16.9oz).

thoughts? Hope this isn't too silly a question -
