Though i baked a batch of peanut butter cookies on friday morning, I sent half of them with my mother to take to my grandfather.. . Ate one... And froze the rest!

Oh, and the yummy vegan blueberry lemon pie that i made last weekend? i've only had two pieces since then.

Managed to say no to my favorite gelato -- I don't always say now (I do have a treat now and then), but I wasn't hungry and have been trying to stop eating just for the sake of eating.

Starting Weight: 260 lbs. (November 2010)
Quasi-Maintenance: 165 lbs. (June 2011)
Goal Weight: 150 lbs. (reached December 8, 2011)

Size 22W to Size 4

Currently maintaining within 5 lbs. (+ or -) of goal. I weigh daily, but also use a tape measure and the fit of my clothes to guage how well I'm doing.

Made a better decision when faced w/ eating at McD's. Side salad, half the dressing, order the chicken sandwich w/o bun or mayo. Iced sugar free coffee. Maybe not ideal but far better than the usual cheeseburg, fry, and icy sugary coffee thing.

I went on a cruise last week. To Alaska, which is 55 degrees in the sunshine. And of course I brought all the wrong clothes. So I stayed on the ship with all the very lovely, very tasty, very lots of food. And I did not do all that much exercising. Just relaxed and ate lots of fruit and salmon and vegetables and only gained 2 pounds. Now vacation is over and it's back to work on me.

Taco Bell messed up my order last night, instead of a Fresco Style bean burrito they made it with cheese and that salty, fatty sauce. Instead of eating it anyway I put it in the garbage disposal (aka my boyfriend) and made myself a salad :)

The other day I walked into WaWa to get a shortie and I thought, You are not thinking of your weight loss ,you are bored and hungry. Eat with your head and go home and make something better. you deserve it. I went home and had PB & jelly sandwich w, a banana. It was good!

On Sunday I was about to walk out the door to get fast food for dinner when I thought "what am I doing" and turned around and made something. Also I actually got up before work yesterday morning and went for a jog.

Lots of little victories today!

-I went for a jog today! First time I have done that in about 6 years. :D
-I was able to find motivation for my workout today, even though it's "my time of the month" and all I wanted to do was lay on the couch, watching tv and snuggling with my cat.
-After I finally put my sneakers on and started jogging, I felt great! :D
- This is a strange victory, but I made a list of things I want to talk to the doctor about when I go see them. I will be going to a new gynecologist in about a month, and I don't usually enjoy doctors visits because I usually feel powerless, but I researched what I want to talk about and I know what I want. It's very empowering.

Anyway, yay! I'm glad that everyone is doing well and that we are all seeing the positives in our lives!

After 2 weeks of not exercising due to a back injury, of which I have no idea how it happened, I walked around the neighborhood this afternoon and did a little bit of light jogging. This is compared to my previous jogging on the treadmill for 3miles every day.

The full piece bathing suit I've been wearing since I started my progress has been too loose in the waist and the bust for awhile now. So finally I switched it out for a black sports bikini - AND my abs look GREAT in it.

Two weeks of consistent exercise and eating better! Not as prone to bad snacking in the afternoon-a BIG little victory for me!

My issue when buying pants/shorts/skirts is that I have a smaller waist but bigger hips/thighs. So everything is tight through the thigh and butt but then my waist band is often too big. For workout shorts I tend to rely on my running shorts that fit snug because I don't feel comfortable in athletic shorts that are tight...low intro...but....

I do have one cute pair of shorts from lululemon that have a little ruffle and are more trendy with a wider leg. They have always been tight across my butt - and when wearing them to volleyball I was always adjusting them. WELL I wore them over the weekend and they are noticeably looser! I was just moving around and realized I'm not playing with them as much.

Little victory but HUGE boost in spirits!

After a week without processed grains, dairy, white flour, or sugar that didn't come from a fruit, I feel FABULOUS. Tons of energy, happier, and my skin has cleared up!

Getting up to walk and workout before work today. I've been doing the workout in the mornings on a regular basis, but now I'm adding in the walking too. (Just a little walking - enough to get my metabolism going.)

It's hard to do, but I know from past experience that it will get easier over time. And using energy to workout, creates more energy.
