I ordered a swim suit so i can begin water arobics.......that is a huge step out of my comfort zone at my size

Managed to say no to my favorite gelato -- I don't always say now (I do have a treat now and then), but I wasn't hungry and have been trying to stop eating just for the sake of eating.
Starting Weight: 260 lbs. (November 2010) Quasi-Maintenance: 165 lbs. (June 2011) Goal Weight: 150 lbs. (reached December 8, 2011) Size 22W to Size 4 Currently maintaining within 5 lbs. (+ or -) of goal. I weigh daily, but also use a tape measure and the fit of my clothes to guage how well I'm doing.

My little victory happened this morning, I tryed on a pair of jeans I have saved for 30 years....today I can now wear them comfortibly. Also I have lost 16 lbs that I have been stuggling to lose and keep it off (some water weight)....YES!

Taco Bell messed up my order last night, instead of a Fresco Style bean burrito they made it with cheese and that salty, fatty sauce. Instead of eating it anyway I put it in the garbage disposal (aka my boyfriend) and made myself a salad :)

Great! Do you have Vegetables on your 'other goal list?' A great way to have a daily reminder - I have done that with taking vitamins cause I have not been consistent with taking them. Keep up the good work!

On Sunday I was about to walk out the door to get fast food for dinner when I thought "what am I doing" and turned around and made something. Also I actually got up before work yesterday morning and went for a jog.
"One day at a time sweet Jesus is all I'm asking of you. Just give me the strength to do everyday what I must do. Yesterday's gone sweet Jesus. Tomorrow may never be mine. Lord for my sake teach me to take one day at a time."

Lots of little victories today! -I went for a jog today! First time I have done that in about 6 years. :D -I was able to find motivation for my workout today, even though it's "my time of the month" and all I wanted to do was lay on the couch, watching tv and snuggling with my cat. -After I finally put my sneakers on and started jogging, I felt great! :D - This is a strange victory, but I made a list of things I want to talk to the doctor about when I go see them. I will be going to a new gynecologist in about a month, and I don't usually enjoy doctors visits because I usually feel powerless, but I researched what I want to talk about and I know what I want. It's very empowering. Anyway, yay! I'm glad that everyone is doing well and that we are all seeing the positives in our lives!

My issue when buying pants/shorts/skirts is that I have a smaller waist but bigger hips/thighs. So everything is tight through the thigh and butt but then my waist band is often too big. For workout shorts I tend to rely on my running shorts that fit snug because I don't feel comfortable in athletic shorts that are tight...low intro...but.... I do have one cute pair of shorts from lululemon that have a little ruffle and are more trendy with a wider leg. They have always been tight across my butt - and when wearing them to volleyball I was always adjusting them. WELL I wore them over the weekend and they are noticeably looser! I was just moving around and realized I'm not playing with them as much. Little victory but HUGE boost in spirits!

Today is the first day I've eaten enough veggies in over a year.
Vanessa or Ness (my real names :)) Just Do it! I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength I've come too far to take orders from a cookie (I borrowed that :))
