You reach your limit on sugar within the first meal of the day. The amount of carbs you eat is double what it should be. Your sodium intake is that of a saltwater fish. All you want is a bowl of ice cream (which turns into a a sundae, which turns into a sundae the size of your head)

Oh, I believe ALL produce needs to be touched, smelled and squeezed-most people these days just don't know the first thing about choosing fruits & veggies, though!!!  I KNOW I have to tweak my food when my 'snack' calories are HALF of my daily intake!!!  hmmmmmmmmmmm...maybe I'd better keep at it!!!

the store clerk finds you 'drooling' in front of the bakery case...  you wander around the produce section & 'fondle' everything...  you misunderstand your food tracking and think the higher the number, the better!!!

everything starts tasting the same....add some spices!!!  ....the local grocer sees you coming and already has that fresh salmon packaged up for ya!!!  ....your kids think ALL you do is eat SALADS!!!

at the end of the day, your calorie tracker is near 2000---and your GOAL is 1400-1600!!! a few less of these  and a lot more of these...

You know ya might need to tweak your food when... I see this  and try to rationalize that it counts as a serving of because I used milk instead of a creamer.
I have faced it. Having tasted, a life wasted. Oh, I erased it, I'm NEVER going back again- E. Vedder 1/20/10 Weight Restored from 90-109 pounds.

your lunch of a 'burger & fries' adds up to 1000 calories....   ...maybe I'll choose a 'lighter' side or salad next trip out!!! you start 'sharing' main dishes OR make a meal of appetizers with someone because you're too full otherwise...  you decide that 'drinking' your calories isn't worth it so much anymore!!!

Your eyes are larger than your shrinking stomach...  Your daily intake of 'fat' is more than double what it should be!!!  When you see a cow or pig, all you can think of is...   If you're like me, tracking HAS to be done for everything we eat, the good, the bad, and 'wasted' calories... Eating 'clean' means getting as much fresh fruit, veggies, and lean proteins in as possible...make this thread fun as you ponder where you might need to 'tweak' your daily intake...
