I use it as a meal replacement for one or two meals, then still snacks and a healthy balanced dinner. I think it depends how often you have them and what you put in it maybe?
Eggbeaters contains egg whites and then uses a different fat source to substitute for the yolk which has been removed.

Thank you so much for your quick response. I am so new to this whole healthy living through diet and nutrition thing. I always thought I was doing okay. After a long bout with cancer and then retirement, a much more sedentary life became the norm. Now I am way heavier than I have ever been. I plan to make changes the way I always have; one day at a time. However, the knowledge is lacking and so the learning begins. One more question...can someone who is allergic to eggs eat egg substitutes like Eggbeaters, etc.?
Most people would consider this a meal replacement---but really it depends on the rest of your meals and snacks for the day; and how this compares to your SP ranges.
