I eat cereal for snacks...Cheerios with skim milk 180 calories for a cup of each. I buy the no name brand and it only cost a couple of dollars a box. Apples or bananas are also inexpensive and are great for snacking. The other thing you might want to do is add olive oil to one of you meals. If your not making your calorie intake you probably are not meeting your healthy fat levels as well.
Nuts are also a good nutrition choice...A little more expensive and higher in calories but packed with good nutrients and protein.
