Well, day 1 is off to a good start! I had the two prescribed shakes so far today -- first one for breakfast with strawberries and flax meal; second one for lunch with a banana. Al the other ingredients stay the same, change the fruit & change the fat ("|I'm relying on Tahini for now). They taste like they are made with buttermilk but the main ingredient is non-fat plain yogurt. They actually taste pretty good!
My snack today is part-skim ricotta in sections of a green pepper with some seasoning -- sounds like it will be a treat!
Dinner -- Kale and Chickpea soup with Feta cheese -- 2 cups is the dinner serving, and it sould fill me up! On the whole, it is a lot of dairy and vegetables -- not a bad set of choices for the first 4 days.
So, we'll see what four days of this eating pattern brings me and then, it is on to Day 5 -- the second part of this program!
