Non-fat (not low-fat) cheese. Non-fat cottage cheese tops a baked potato. Non-fat Cheddar Cheese, shredded , or non-fat Mozzarella, shredded, gets tossed in a green salad.

This may sound weird but i always have split pea soup in individual servings in my freezer. Its high in protein and low in calories and ends any cravings i may have.

Popcorn! (specifically JollyTime 100 cal Kettle Corn). OMG, they are so good!! I buy them by the dozen, lol. I eat two bags a day (only 200 cals total).

Also, Dove Dark chocolate squares. I have 2 every night.

I have these two things every single day as part of my 1,300 cal/day intake and I have lost 22lbs in 2.5 months. Happy girl over here :-)

These days..I have 2. I always have an apple available as a snack...and I always have Eggbeaters in the fridge. Eggbeaters because they are very high in protein, but low in calories and can be cooked in the microwave in 1 minute.

short and mid-term goal:
stay consistent and keep losing weight.
long-term goal:
feel better about myself and not have weight be something I think about on a daily basis.

Lipton peach mango low cal tea packets -- just mix them into the water - 5 calories
delicious and I drink about 8-9 of them a day. I have well water that tastes like you know what and this way I can easily get the water down. I do filter my water -- but this makes it better somehow -- I enjoy it!

Promax protein bars - especially when I go out. If I get delayed and can't get home to eat as planned, the Promax is substantial enough to be a meal replacement, but well-balanced nutritionally.

"Zone" bars.... great balance of 24 Carb/ 3 fiber/ 7 Fat/ 14 Protein...wrapped inside a lovely chocolate coating! I don't eat them everyday, but I always have them for long bike rides/hiking, etc.

Wraps are the best, you can put anything in them. Yesterday I used whole grain with lots of spinach & crab meat chunks w/ green onion & radishes, w/ fat free dressing, so yummy! emoticon by the way, nice ticker emoticon

I love pistachios, apples w/[peanut butter or cheddar cheese. And for the apples, I like braburns best, others are too sweet or mushy texture.

I also keep greek yogurt on hand. It is so versatile.

Right now, it's non-fat cheese (mozzarella or cheddar, shredded, in bags, made by Kraft). I add it to salads to try to boost my protein intake. Or I add it to a hot soup, just before eating. Or I mix it with olives, veggies, and stuff it in pita for a sandwich.

The common comment I get is, 'When I eat cheese, I want the delicious, full-fat kind.' I understand that. But at this point, I don't miss the full-fat kind, or the low-fat kind. The difference in calories is tremendous and the flavor is not as strong, but the non-fat cheese is standard for me now, and it has replaced the other.
