I do a protein shake in the morning.

1 cup skim milk
2 ounces egg whites
1 scoop whey protein, high in protein and only 260 calories.

Throw in some oatmeal for the fiber, and you are good to go for the morning!

Ways I get protein: eggs (hard boiled for a snack or "fried" on whole wheat toast), black beans mixed with brown rice and corn or mixed in a salad, turkey breast sandwich, canned chicken or salmon on my salad or as a sandwich, grilled piece of salmon (great in a George Forman grill--fast and tasty!).

Learn to tell yourself, often and loudly, "NO".

I need some help with ideas of how to get my daily protein in. I'm by no means a vegetarian, but I never seem to meet my protein goals for the day. Any suggestions or recipe ideas?
