OMG!! What a brilliant idea!!! Lately at the end of the day and I have some calories left to spend, I will grab a Hershey's Milk Choc. funsize and nibble on that. Melting it for dipping purposes with aforementioned clementine could totally work!! THANK YOU!

clementines are pure evil.

their little skins come off so easily... and they fall apart just waiting to be popped into your mouth. but then the next one is sitting there saying "oh i'm so very small, eat me, too". gak, i could do a crate in about 5 days. 5 of the delightly evil buggers a day.

want a super divine treat? melt some dark chocolate (a hershey's kiss, sized peice), on a small plate, (5 seconds at a time, or you'll burn the chocolate), then "dip" (though with this little amount of chocolate, it's more like "slide" each piece across the chocolate and consume. this is proof there is a god, though it may be the chocolate god from Mexico.

A serving of fruit has about:
60 calories
15 grams of carbohydrate

One clementine has:
35 calories
9 grams of carbohydrate

SO actually 1 1/2 clementines would be equal to a fruit serving.

A serving a fruit is 1/2 cup, which is about the size of a billiard ball. It doesn't matter what the fruit is or its physical size (raisins, clementines, dried cranberries, kiwi, grapes... ANYTHING!) it nutritionally "counts" as a fruit if you eat 1/2 cup.

I have heard somewhere that a serving of veg or fruit is 80 gram, that is not a lot. If you are unsure just have another one emoticon

I would think so - a technical serving of fruit is about 1/2 cup - which is about the size of a clementine?

Does a clementine count as one fruit since they are so small? Thank you!
