It feels so great to reach or finish a goal. I feel like it hardly happens for me. I picked very small goals for my first set. I want to reach them and feel that sense of accomplishment when I see all the days checked off!
Don't drink soda. -- I'm nearly there already. Just a couple of times a week, but this will give me the reason to skip those too.
Stretch for 5 minutes each day. -- I'm easing my way back in to fitness and it's a good start to get my body moving again.
Read a weight-loss success story. -- I'm quite motivated by them. It makes me realize, "Hey! I can do that, too!"
When I make a decision to get back to losing weight I usually go all gangbusters about it. Try to do too much. Teaching myself this time that slow and steady will get me where I need to be.
