Making an effort to take ownership of your choices and participate in the community here makes you more successful. Logging in daily helps you stay motivated; it's awfully hard to justify some choices when you know you're going to have to account for them on the site later.
Even if you don't track it, it's still in your body, so tracking it helps you understand the what, where, why, and how of your weight gain and loss.
