I was under my goal today by 175!! What is even better I spent the day with the family, stopped at taco bell for a quick bite (I stuck with one small item) had a drink on the lake. I got to enjoy life, didn't feel like I was having to go without, but still made goal.

Currently I have only been tracking my food for about 3 days. I have gone over calorie count so far every day. I am ok with it though. Right now is a learning phase. I know that even going over my calorie count I am eating less than if I wasn't counting calories. Now I am experimenting with my diet to find ways to include foods that help me feel more full longer without going over count. Each day this week I have felt a little hungry at bed time and very hungry in the morning. I am working to find the balance.

I do see a pattern that says I need to eat more with the amount I have left over, but I added 250 more calories a day last week after gaining just under a pound and lost 3 pounds this week!

I ate shy of 1700 calories yesterday (my "usual" amount is about 1800-1900 per day now to offset my activity) and had this at end of day.

Remaining Today:

920 - 1,270
