I found that the rules such as "never eat after 6 or 7 pm" never worked for me! I'd always try to willpower my way out of not eating and eventually end up starving..and then stuffing my face. lol. Instead, I made a list of foods that were "OK" to eat after dinner. I chose easy to digest foods (my go-to was an apple usually). Then, I didn't rebel against myself and binge. Instead, I just ate enough to curb my appetite. Hope that helped :)
If I am eating because I'm bored :) or stressed, then I will take a hot shower or bath to relax or do something to get myself ready for the next day.
This winter I had a really hard time with it because the nights were so long, so I started coloring in one of the new adult coloring books. It was great because my hands were occupied and I was making something colorful!

Green Tea!!!!!! Super good for you and helps with weightloss. If you slowly get yourself used to it "black" (by maybe cutting down on sugar, or using splenda) it actually isn't that bad! I used to HATE black tea but now I LOVE black green tea... it's way better than unsweetened black tea! I drink it all the time and it truly does work. A lot of diet pills have green tea extract in it.
I eat well several times per day and train my body when it's time to eat and when it's not. If I'm super-hungry and there's good reason for it, I'll have a small and good snack; if I'm super-hungry and there's no good reason, I exercise discipline and tell my inner-child, "No, and you'll be fine until the morning."

try to figure out a reasonable weekly list of good stuff to eat... right now I'm mostly eating vegetables; baked (microwaved) potatoes / sweet potatoes; raw( sweet red peppers; carrots, celery, tomatoes; avocado's, jalapeño's, cilantro, zucchini, yellow squash, lemons, limes; garbanzo beans, Ole Mexican wraps [only the 50 calorie ones there are 2], chicken bouillon; apples, cinnamon, fresh ground pepper, frozen [strawberries, blueberries, mango's, pineapple, mixed fruit], skim milk a little chocolate syrup).... Morningstar veggie burgers, mustard ... and I can't recall what else.

Drink decaf coffee or tea, chew gum, go for a walk, plan my nutrition and exercise for the next day, enter what I am craving into my nutrition tracker and see how much it would destroy my healthy plan for the day and how much exercise it would take to burn it off.
