I drink water and try to distract myself.
Try walking around a little bit. Sometimes moving around helps me.

Water and gum. I also plan my meals so that I eat when I know I am hungriest.

I eat. LOL.

Seriously though, since I choose lowfat, high fiber, high protien type foods I am almost never hungry except first thing in the morning after my first workout. My biggest issue is getting enough calories for the day to hit the minimum for my current guideline. Sometimes I want to just cry when I see I'm under 350 calories because I'm just not able to eat anything else. I drink at least 100 ounces of water a day so that helps as well.

Here are a couple of things I do:

(1) Distract Yourself - go for a walk, work on a hobby, play with the kids, read a book. If you can focus on something else, you won't be focusing on your hunger.

(2) Tell yourself it's ok to be hungry. Previously, my first reaction to hunger would be to run to the kitchen and eat something. I've learned that it's ok to feel hungry and that I don't have to eat in response to it.

(3) Delay your eating. Sometimes when I feel hungry I'll tell myself that I need to wait 30 minutes--and then, if I'm still hungry I'll have a snack. Thirty minutes seems do-able to me. Sometimes after 30 minutes the urge to eat has passed.
