Hi,

Holly, thanks for the "mindless eating" advice! I really liked the idea of having to set the table for each eating time. I tend to "mindlessly eat" later in the evening when I do do this. I'm pretty good most of the time but I can't put my guard down...ever.

Hi Lauren!!
The first step is recognizing the problem!! Good for you for making that first step!! as for the mindless eating..i was doing it too. thats when i saw something about having one..and ONLY one place to eat, preferable the kitchen or dining room table. AND, EVERY time you HAVE to use a plate, napkin, fork, knife and spoon. and put them away aftrer.
I have to tell you, IT WORKED. its a pain in the butt to "set" the table when i was boredom eating. it wasnt worth it, and it opened my eyes to how much i was doing it (but..i NEVER eat!!--yeah right...i sure WAS eating!!)
anyhow, give it a shot..maybe it will work for you too!!

Don't you hate that feeling when your normally fine pants are tight? That is where I'm at after the holidays are now over and done. I got totally off my routine. But now I'm back. My goal today is to have a great work out and track my food and drink a ton of water. I'm a horrible mindless snacker. Any thoughts on that? I also work from home so I have access to food all day long.
