Hi Kayla. First of all, I see this is your first message board post. Reaching out to others will help you on your journey to become healthier, so good for you to do this.
Sometimes, we are really rolling along, and then we hit a roadblock - like the bronchitis you faced. Have you been cleared for exercise from your doctor? If so, then you just need to start to build consistency again. If the Jillian Michael's workout is too intense, start with something else. Commit to ten minutes a day for the next two weeks. Walking, riding a bike, or a different workout might be just the thing to help you get back on track. Check with your local library for dvd's to try for free (you just need a library card), or look through workout plans on YouTube.
Try giving a reward if you meet your goal through to year end (like the ten minutes a day).
SparkPeople has a whole section on motivation. Have you seen it - there might be some helpful articles or ideas there for you.
Don't get frustrated. Roadblocks come all the time. We just need to figure out how to get over /around / through them.
