Ironing. I kid you not, I burn at least 300 calories/ hr and strengthen my back muscles at the same time. it helps me with posture.

Nintendo Wii, as well as taking walks for alone time. I love walking and praying and such, it does really good things for stress reduction.

I play volleyball one night a week in a league, and one night a week in a drop in night at a school with mostly teachers and people they have invited. The league night is fairly competitive and I get an awesome workout, but its the most fun I have all week. I would play volleyball every day if I had the opportunity! The drop in night it just for fun, we don't have set teams, and we don't keep score, we just show up and start playing, its very casual and the skill level is really varied, so I don't play as hard that night. Don't want to spike the ball at someone who doesn't really play very well!

My favorite way of burning calories is walking my dogs with my brothers. We don't often do things together very much anymore because I am in college and my brothers are 16 an 13. We have become more independent over time and as a result we don't really hang out a lot. But when I come home I always make a point of making sure I walk the dogs with my brothers because its fun, burns calories, and we get to catch up and hang out. It is so nice being with family when I come home from school! emoticon

I love to rough house with my kids. My little boy loves it when we run around chasing one another and just wrestle. I figured this is a great and especially fun way to burn some extra calories at home. :)
